# C3 division of polynomials watch

1. x^4 + 6x^2 - 8x + 21 divided by x^2 - 2x + 3

I get it to equal x^2 + 2x + 7 remainder 6x

However the answers tell me that although the main part of the answer is correct there should be no remainder, could anyone tell me where I have gone wrong please?
