Working with Children, Young People and Families can help you progress to study at Postgraduate Certificate in FE Teaching .

Advice from those that offer PGCE qualifications is that a minimum of a 2:2 degree or equivalent would be needed. For primary teaching a degree in a national curriculum subject is useful. For secondary you must have a degree, or at least 50% of the degree in the subject you're applying to teach. Double check the exact requirements once you’re ready to apply for a postgraduate course as entry requirements change.
