    For this question would c be plus 2 or minus 2. I got c to be plus or minus 2 but if c is positive I get the answer to be a and if it is negative I get the answer to be b. But it obviously can't be both. Anyone have any ideas? I'll post the question next post.

    If I remember correctly, c is usually meant to be positive? The question should have specified this though.
