    I don't have an apple account so you can imagine my suprise when I got this email:



    Anyway, thinking it was simply a case of mistaken identity and not considering it may be a phishing email, I stupidly clicked the link to find out where Chermside is. I pressed it and immediately realise 'Oh, this is probably a scam' because the link on the page that came up didn't have a proper URL and came up with this:



    So, I've ran Avast and Malware Bytes scans and they said I didn't have anything, and I forwarded the email to Apple and reported it as phishing.

    I was just wondering, is there anything else you guys think I should be wary of and anything else you think I should do?

    Once I got my first one (which was not too long ago...) I found I have been getting a fair few of them.. not only from 'Apple' but from 'Amazon' as well. Just be wary and if something looks dodgy, hover your mouse over the email address and it will actually just be made up of numbers and letters from some dodgy place.
