How would you deal with attention seekers Watch

There is a girl I know. She used to be a good friend and now I feel she just likes the attention. She will flirt etc

I've lost all hope of remaining friends with her, but I want to teach her a lesson so she remembers never to be a little attention seeker.

I've tried that before, ignoring her and spending time with my other friends and study/work. She changes for a little while then boom back to square one

I mean permanently, that is if you have lost all hope of being friends with her and hence don't want to be friends with her.

Thinking now, I do miss her. Like when she is normal she is one of the most loyal friends you can have

Ten I would make my mind up about what I wanted. You appear not to know.

I want to be friends with her. But it is impossible when she is in attention seeking mode
