Hi,

In my course there is an option to either do: a year abroad or a year in industry.

If I found my year in industry abroad wouldn't that essentially be combing the two into an even better experience or would doing a year abroad separately be a different experience on its own?

You could do both at once, however working abroad will be a quite different experience to studying abroad as you won't have the uni environment around you. Additionally a lot of countries do 6 months in industry rather than the full year or pay significantly less than the UK (if anything) so that may make things more complicated.
