Their idea is savvy. But the engine is in no way superior to google or the mighty DuckDuckGo.

I change my font using the following tag: [f.o.n.t=Book Antiqua] [/f.o.n.t] (take off the dots)

This reminds me of a guy in 6th form who used to advertise DuckDuckGo to everyone including our head of 6th form who found it hilarious :beard:

If you care about privacy, try StartPage.com.
Been using it for a while and I really like the search results, they are very similar to Google but nothing will be tracked.
I tried Duckduckgo as well but I don't like the fact that their servers are located in the US.

Ecosia will never match the 2.5bn contribution Google has made. Too much talk for too little action.

I wouldn't really be able to betray Google after all these years

Just a nice idea I guess.
Reminds me - Bing! is a joke - it uses an exclamation point as a painful attempt of standing out, but it seems Microsoft is laughing at itself...

Indeed. Any search engine whose first, closest association is an American sitcom, used by ladies tending to their hoohoos each lunar cycle, ought to be boycotted immediately as an enabling of a great evil (never trust something that bleeds every month and doesn't die).

I think nothing is better than safari. When it comes to security safari is best.
