    Hey Guys

I just wanted to ask a quick question which is basically I am dropping out of my course (Adult Nursing) after first year and was wondering whether I need to make up the hours that I have missed from not attending University lectures. So far I have missed two lessons due to falling ill. My University states that I need to do make up sheets in order to compensate the hours missed as University lessons are counted towards registering as a Nurse. Since I am dropping out after first year would I still need to do the make up sheets as I have already missed the first deadline of this.

I am aware that I would need to speak to the University directly however I am just afraid of letting them know that I will be dropping out of Nursing after first year.I was hoping to let them know as soon I finish the year.

Hope someone is able to help!

    Thank you

If you are dropping out then why would you be worried about being registered as a nursing student? If you want to change degrees then do not start your second year.

If you don't complete the course you're always going to be considered a drop out. Because you don't finish and then become a registered nurse.
You may be able to take the credits to use as apl but it depends on what course you may want to do afterwards.
But as for your absences I am sure they will be fine. Plenty of people go through uni without 100% attendance in nursing and still pass. Absences just need to be approved etc too ideally.
