    What are your guys' opinions for the best accommodation for someone who occasionally likes to party but doesn't like a lot of noise at night/likes to study? I've had a look online and I really like Richmond Park and Sheavyn Park but I'm struggling to choose a 3rd option (one that's preferably shared and/or catered to increase my chances of getting it). My limit is about £5500.

    One of the books you receive from the uni after applying is one that helps with choosing accommodation, there's a two page spread in there with a campus map and on the other side are a blank list for pros/cons for the halls and a table with various bits of information on all the halls such as en suite bathrooms and whether or not it's self-catered. If you don't have that booklet then I'd recommend to make your own list and do up the pros/cons taking into consideration all the things you want from a home.

    Things I'd suggest you look for in your accommodation are;

    -En suite bathrooms/shared
    -Self-catered/canteen

    (these two are probably most important so decide this first and eliminate those that don't fit, it'll narrow your search and make the decision much easier)

    -Internet in rooms
    -Distance from uni
    -On site washing facilities
    -General location of site
    -On site recreation (bars/common rooms and such)
    -look at pictures of the halls

    Do this and add it all to the pros/cons list and you should be able to make an informed decision.
