    HI

So I am currently studying level 4 Biomedical science and have just applied to start Environmental Health undergraduate in September. I am a mature student and took my GCSE's nearly 20 years ago but only got and E in mathematics. Just out of interest has anyone got into university ok without the GCSE in maths? I am studying maths modules on my course and actually surprising myself at how much my skills in this subject have improved.I have so far passed all the work I have done to date on maths so do you think that may be enough to get me onto my course as an alternative? Any advice would be much appreciated just while I am waiting to hear back from uni as its niggling at me.

The uni course requirements normally mention that if you check on their page

Thanks for your reply. Yes it says GSCE or level 2 alternative but then in the mature student section it says they can consider you on alternative qualifications so I guess I will just have to wait and see now. Should have worked harder at school - lesson learnt with that one!lol

If you are a mature student they will view your E rather differently. It's best to contact each university and ask them about your particular circumstances.
