Last night I was heading out with some colleagues from work for a small drink after a busy week (we had a lot of targets to reach). Before leaving, one of them came up to me and she said:

"There are a load of drunk girls there, lets hope you find one!"

I laughed it off but she kept going on about how I may be "lucky" and it made me realise that she genuinely believed I would scout out someone drunk in the hope of doing whatever. I was really offended because it made me seem like a desperate predator, and it was also implying that I could only get with a drunk person. I didn't see her later and I went home really early because it peed me off.

It really doens't matter what we think. You clearly took offence to the comment so as far as you are concerned it was rude. It really doesn't matter what we think.

If it's worth the hassle discuss it with this person and say you were quite offended by the comment. Frankly it seems like a really small thing and not worth making a big deal out of. If this person is constantly making demeaning comments towards you then you need to talk to them or cut them out of your life.
