Level 3 BTEC's are obviously very similar to a level 2 BTEC however there is more work and the work will be more complicated. However if you are finding the level 2 easy, then you should have any problems with the level 3.

I am on my second year and on track to get D*D*D* in business. It's very easy for me because its coursework and seems straight forward to me. If you keep up with the assignments and do not miss deadlines and get capped at a pass or a merit, it is fairly simple.

I do a Level 3 BTEC National in Business. I've nearly completed my second year finish in may. I would personally say no because I have good discipline and time management skills. However, if you suck at exams like myself then I would go for a BTEC.

The spec for BTEC has changed so it is slightly more difficult than the old spec (which is what im currently doing). From what my teacher said, the extended diplomas now have 13 units with 4 of them being exams. Each unit will have around 8 pass criterias, 4 merits and 4 distinctions.
It should be manageable though. Despite the exams, as long as you have good time management and can get distinctions in the coursework it shouldn't be difficult to get a good grade overall.
