I'm 23 and thinking about changing career, I'm thinking with children, so I would want to start by volunteering somewhere with children. What would I do to start this??
Also do I volunteer when I'm free or will it have to be in their time as I work full time.

You can volunteer at your local rainbows/brownies/guides group. Thats usually in an evening so can fit around work.
You could also volunteer in a school- they usually let people volunteer and help out. Obviously thats in school hours.
