I'm in year 12 at the moment and I'm currently thinking of applying for theology for next year. I'm most interested in christian theology and I'm learning theology as part of my RS course.
At the moment my top two choices are Cliff College and Cardiff.

Any advice?

I have a friend who studied at cliff college and loved it. I went to London school of theology for a while and I had a great time with them! I eventaully dropped out but that was due to my own health issues and nothing to do with the uni. Capernwray has a good theology programme but it's a very different feel to other unis and personally I wouldn't want to go there but I know loads of people who have been there and had an amazing time!

It really comes down to why you want to study theology. I studied it in order to use it in ministry work and so I chose LST to be surrounded by other christians and to experience ministry work. Some want to study purely because of academic interest. If you are a christian and are looking to go into ministry I would reccomend a christian uni like cliff college because it will be an awesome experience, practically you learn so much about minitrsy and it's good on a personal level as it makes you so focused on your relationship with God. If you are wanting to study it for academic interest and you're not a christian I would recommend Cardiff, simply because you will still be surrounded by non-christains and have more of the "normal student social life" that is portrayed.
