I assumed the benzene ring to be c6h6 and an amine group attached (nh2) therefore mr being 94. But apparently the formula is c6h5h2

A benzene ring on its own is C6H6 but as soon as you add a group to the benzene ring (NH2), it is taking a space where one of the hydrogens would have been, so the benzene ring becomes C6H5NH2.
