EDIT: This is a really stupid question but I need to know. I am doing higher, so do I revise grades 1-4 as well a 5-9, or only 5-9?
You need to know everything. Of course there's no point trying 1-4 questions in foundation papers but 5-9 content will involve 1-4 content.

Last term, all of the schools in my area took the same paper, so that rough grade boundaries could be calculated. This paper was out of 80. The grade boundaries that I remember were:

    63/80 = 9 and 54/80 = 8.

    Hope this helps.

    What really??
We've been doing these new set of papers in school .I've been getting 67ish in each paper And i got a grade 8. And in my mocks, I got Grade 7 by getting around 185 total. :/

Hmmm. Which papers are they? Mine are AQA. I reckon anything above 73+ out of 80 WILL be enough for a 9 in the actual exam due to it being harder (much harder in fact) then previous years.

ohh I'm doing edexcel. And for us you have to get 75/76 minimum on each paper for a grade 9.

The highest in my class (set 1) was a scale 4.
    I, however, got a U, and 20% out of 240 (Edexcel mocks)
In the next 3 paper mocks, i'll need to get a scale 4-5, to do higher for GCSEs.
I ultimately want to get a scale 6/7, and i've improved a lot since doing the papers.

Thats great! Good luck for your oyther papers.

I did edexcel aswell ;they were horrible tbh. I think with the actual edexcel maths gcses, the grade boundaries are going to be lower since everyone seems to be struggling with them.
