Was just wondering would you say an economics degree is it worth it? Some people have said it's not worth choosing and you may aswell do a better degree as it will open up more career options and is more respected. Was looking on people's opinions on this, thanks.

One thing to keep in mind is that, depending on where you go, people find it to involve more maths than they expect so keep this in mind as you research and determine whether it's for you.

And you know. It's a numerical degree.. and they ask for a 2:1 or above in a numerical degree in lots of finance related roles - and if you can make a well rounded application, then I doubt you'd struggle. You can also do exon w/ placement courses - definitely worth looking at that to help.

If econ is what you want to study, then I would go for it. Consider other degrees if you so wish but if you think you might not do as well then it's not worth it.
