Currently I'm studying Biology, Chemistry and maths at A level in the uk. So far I'm hating the subjects and I'm halfway through the year. I feel I chose those subjects because of my parents and what they wanted me to do. These A levels are content heavy which require a lot of revision throughout the week which I just can't do. At gcse I loved business and maths, so I was thinking of checking out an accounting apprenticeship but I'm not sure what I should do. Any advice? Also will I be able to do well without going to Uni for accounting?

I'm not sure if it's the same with accountancy but a lot of apprenticeship programs now with bigger companies have the ability to jump on and jump off, so doing a lower level apprenticeship will give you the qualifications to keep progressing up the levels.

Might be worth having a look at some GCSE leaver apprenticeships. It'll be easier to get a decent level apprenticeship if you can grind out your A Levels though.

I don't want to carry on with these A levels. I just feel that they are not for me and I would be wasting my time if I carried on
