    Hey guys,

I was just wondering if you have a brief idea on how many applicants the different front office roles of an investment bank receive yearly (could be SW, SI or FT)?

I would reckon that most people apply for IBD rather than S&T but I might be mistaken.

Would be interesting to hear your thoughts, especially if you have some concrete ("inside") info.

SW ~2-5k (apps to places is like 40-60)

SA ~15-25k (apps to places is more 80-100+)

    no idea for FT

Do you know the difference between IBD and S&T in terms of nr of applicants?

Ok I see. What would be your initial guess if I may ask?

There's no point trying to work this out. Choose what you think your skill sets are best suited to and the one which interests you the most.

I see your point. But for your own information I have already secured a full time offer. I'm just curious about the statistics, that's all.
