    Hey everyone,

So for my EPQ, instead of doing an essay - I have decided to organise a Moroccan Evening to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. It's in less than 2 months (March 23rd) and I've got quite a bit organised so far: venue, entertainment (henna artist & some Arabic singers), some decorations but I'm really worried about what to do for food.

I was thinking finger food like olives, hummus and pita bread, any suggestions for what else I could do? It's from 6-9, so I don't know if I should have a main meal and if it's too short notice to organise?

If anyone has any ideas for other entertainment, I wanted to do a craft stall and also have some games, but I have no clue where to start.

    Thank you lots

I have a few suggestions being Moroccan myself,
For food hummus and Mediterranean salad is good place to start, and for a main meal couscous?
Regarding games and entertainment, you could have something belly dancing inspired, decorating the hand of Fatima and tribal tattoos (berber) done with henna?
Good luck on the evening, i hope it all goes well <3

That's so lovely! Thank you so much <3

That sounds really good, and I could serve the couscous in little pots too maybe?

What would you say for decorations? I've got like 10-12 lanterns - but do you know what websites I could get maybe fabrics or other decorations from?

    Thank you again <3

Depending on your budget you could either buy or DIY some Moroccan rugs, typically used fabrics are shimmery rayan fabrics or tapestry fabrics.
I love the idea of couscous in little pots,
for websites etsys your best chance because most of the sellers are Moroccan, but Moroccan culture is quite in trend right now so even IKEA will have some small pieces.
