I thought it would be beneficial for AS students to have a forum on this topic. Here, we can discuss the movie and speak about our impressions of the characters.

Honestly, I didn't think I'd ever find anyone else who is studying the film - all that my teacher says is that there are no study guides for L'auberge espagnole as so few are studying it!

OMG.. I'm so happy! Today I did a speaking mock with teacher 1 and I got 18/30, which isn't terrible nor good. I suppose its practice practice and practice! What else are you studying with your teachers?

Don't worry about the speaking mock because the first one is always meant to be a bit terrifying. Besides, the mark scheme is probably harsher on the old spec (as my teachers - I have three of them for French - keep saying!).
I've just studied studying L'auberge espagnole in detail (mainly analysing characters at the moment). Honestly, I just don't know what we are supposed to be covering as even my teacher (the one assigned to teach the film) has admitted that she is 'making it up' as we analyse the film. :/
Have you covered nearly all of the six topics yet? I've finished Family, Musique and Bénévolat; I'm currently on Cinema and Cyber Society.
