I've been invited to an informal interview at University of Leeds... what exactly does this mean? What type of clothes should I wear? What possible questions could be asked?

You should have been given information about what this involves with your invitation. If not you can ring them up and ask details about what is involved (how long will the interview last, who you'll be interviewed by etc ). It's a perfectly normal question that the admissions team will be used to answering.

Generally for interviews wear clothes you are COMFORTABLE in. University academics rarely wear suits and almost never wear ties....formal clothing is only recommended if it's what you prefer to wear normally. Think the sort of outfit you'd wear to go out for a roast dinner at a nice pub with your nan - comfy but not too scruffy.

Have a look on Which? university to see what % of applicants get made an offer for your course - chances are this is just a way to manipulate you into visiting so they can sell the course to you (rather than a situation where your chance of an offer is in any way based on the interview).
