    Hi there,

I'm taking my GCSE's this summer, and I've realised out of all of my subjects English language is the one I struggle the most in terms of revision.

The only thing that lots of people have been telling me is to do past papers. But the thing is since I'm doing the new English language GCSE (with the new grading system 1-9) There arent any past papers because I'll be the first year sitting the exams.

So if any of you have any advice for revising for English language, other than past papers, please do leave a reply below.

    Thank you in advance!!

Bit of a tricky one considering you're one of the first to do 9-1.
I'm not exactly sure what your exams include but I would read texts and analyse the language, do the things you've been doing in class. Look for youtube videos, there are some good ones out there
Ask your teacher to make a question up for you and ask them to mark it once you've done it.

I have workbooks like this one (you should be able to get them for whatever exam board you're with), which have new style questions in to practice with. There are sample papers and mark schemes for the new exams too; if you can't find these online ask your teacher as some of them are stuck in portals rather than freely available.
