I'm looking for student accommodation at Manchester and I'm not sure where is best. Opal Gardens and Sheavyn House are my favourites. Anyone who's lived in these got any insight?
    Thanks

I'm looking for one as well! I was wondering which one is best at having a social life (though as someone who will do placement, i can't have it too noisy) and is relatively "clean" or at least tolerable to look at, I've searched up a couple and some looked quite...yeah.

I'm leaning towards fallowfields but i'm worried it might be too far and i am wanting self catered, en suite and the buildings available may not even meet my requirements above.

I want the same things. I applied last night putting Sheavyn as my first choice. It's apart of Fallowfields, so good for social life, but secluded from the rest of it I believe making it not to full on.
