I have Sheffield Hallam as my insurance choice and my firm choice as UEA. They are both conditional. Do I apply for accommodation at both? Whats the procedure?

Usually you only apply for accommodation at your firm choice but you should check how each uni works it as some may allow you to apply even as an insurance choice applicant. You should also check how the deposits work as usually you will have to pay a deposit to reserve your room and this can be non-refundable even if you miss your offer and can't attend the university.

You would definitley apply for accomodaiton at UEA, you need to check Sheffield Hallams accomodation policy to see if you can apply for halls there.

I applied for accommodation at my firm and insurance, but that was because my insurance said to do so. Check with the university as they all have different procedures for allocating accommodation.

    Hi Joe,

If you've accepted us as either your firm or insurance choice you can apply online for accommodation. You should allow 48 hours after accepting your offer before applying for accommodation.

Do you have any favourites in mind?
