Hiya, I received an unconditional offer from the sixth form I will attend next year. Obviously this is great because it's irrespective of my grades but is it based on merit? What does it mean? Is it good?

I think i'm right in assuming you have taken a test for this sixth form, but my friend also got an unconditional offer and she thinks that it doesn't matter what grades you get it is just based on if you accept or not.
    hope this still helps
