Hi all I am fairly new to this forum I am in the process of choosing my options and more or less decided to do both French and German, the only thing is I am a bit worried that I will confuse them both as I currently have that problem in class... has anyone experienced this during their GCSE?

I do A-levels in both and don't - they're pretty different so after a while it'll be fine

Second what was said above, I took them both for GCSE and there weren't any problems.
(Except when they scheduled our controlled assessments on the same week!)

Thanks guys for that reassurance. The thing is I really enjoy both and am now glad I can confidently put it down on my option sheet without have that doubt.

First few weeks it happens. After that, it's like French and English. Can't confuse them.
