    Hi everyone,

I am currently applying to postgraduate programmes in Finance after a BSc at Bocconi University.

I was recently admitted to LBS's Master in Financial Analysis (MFA) and I am awaiting an answer from LSE for its MSc in Finance & PE.

However, I will probably need to pay a down payment for LBS before receiving an answer from LSE.

Therefore, I was wondering what was the better choice of programme for your guys ? Taking the hypothesis of an admission to LSE as well.

    Thank you in advance !!

Can you ask to extend the deposit deadline so you don't have to make a decision till all your applications have been processed? The courses sound different so which one interests you more and will give you more in terms of what is important to you?

Hi ! Unfortunately they clearly specified that no exception shall be made on the deposit deadlines.

All in all both programmes are generalist expect for the one Private Equity course at LSE (besides this it follows the structure of the MSc in Finance).

My questions revolved more in terms of career prospect, teaching experience and methods or student life ?

Generally career prospects will be similar but will be influenced by your grades, experience and course content. The other bits you can find online and if you don't get responses from students on here see if the uni can put you in touch with current or former students.
