I am an EU student that has received an offer for Business Economics at Coventry University. Before I was quite sure that it is a decent university, however I have been reading around and have found many freshers that were unhappy with the uni, albeit they were mostly not studying economics. The Guardian posts Coventry as number 5, however after reading some of these opinions, I have started to doubt myself. Is there anyone here studying Economics at Coventry Business school that could help me clear some of this up?

Taking a quick look at the Guardian, it appears that what kept Coventry up towards the top of the ranking was its student satisfaction and not much else. Anecdotal issues with the university (such as poor admin) may apply to everyone or those in different subsets of the student population, such as those living in a certain hall of residence. Coventry doesn't have much of a rep for Econ in the UK, but that may be different in your home country (I'm also EU, and noticed that any UK uni, no matter how sh*t, is often regarded as superior to domestic unis for some reason).
