Hey, so I've applied to study Fashion at university, and my ideal choice is Salford University. It says the acceptance rate is 4.8% as of 2012, so does this mean only 4/5 out of 100 people get accepted on to their courses or is there something else behind how it is measured? This really confuses me as it seems quite low to say everybody I know who has applied has recieved an offer, so it's starting to worry me a little. I also can't find any stats to say how many people on average apply for their Fashion course and how many are accepted, or how many apply and are accepted as a whole for the entire university, as that alone would be a big ease on my mind. So if anybody had those statistics somewhere, that would be of great help.
    Thanks a lot!
