I need to start applying for sixth in about a week (I have already applied one)
My current choices for A Level are: Math, Physics, Chemistry and Psychology

These already seem like a lot of work as most are hard subjects which is why im thinking of swapping psychology for history.
I'm not sure which one would be an easier A level, I've heard psychology is essay based and I suck at writing fast under a certain amount of time however history seems like a lot of writing too.

I do both history and psychology and history is HARD. Yes, psychology is a lot to remember, but history has even more content, and you have to write more essays than in psychology as well. As with other sciences, in psychology it's largely just fact recalling - unlike history where you need to remember the facts but also be able to use them and justify your usage (not to mention source essays etc)

If you love history - go for it. But if you're choosing based on ease (ease being how much work it is in whole) then stick with psych. Yes it's a lot of content, but between the two it is a godsend. (I do AQA Psychology though btw so it could be different for other boards, but I doubt it's that different )

    Good luck!!
