In the summer, i did well in all of my subjects and am happy, except i ended up with a D in maths. It was not too much of a surprise as it has always been my weakest subject, however, now I have been given the chance to resit it and i don't know if i should? i got a D grade. I am unsure about which course i want to study at uni so am wondering if it is necessary to resit?

You'll find that a minimum of a C grade in GCSE maths is required not just for universities but for jobs after uni. You really should resit it.

If you still can, get it remarked first. It might just go up.

I'd re-sit it as this Summer is the last chance to re-sit on the specification you took, after that you would have to move to the new 9-1 specification.

The deadline for applying for re-marks from last Summer was 20 September so this is not an option.
