Teacher attitudes towards ADHD and Disorder of Executive Functioning
An undergraduate final year project is being carried out to explore to the attitudes teachers have towards two different disorders: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Executive Functioning Disorder (EFD). You do not need to be concerned if you have not heard of these disorders.
You are being invited to take part in this research, where you will be asked to take part in an online questionnaire lasting approximately ten to fifteen minutes. The link to the questionnaire is here:https://mdxl.eu.qualtrics.com/SE/?SI...AN4cueqHO2tlqJ. This project has received approval from the Middlesex Psychology Department’s Ethics Committee. If you do decide to take part, you should continue to read this information and then tick the boxes to provide your consent to your data being used. Participation in this research is entirely voluntary. All data will be anonymised, and your individual data will not be identifiable. You do not have to take part if you do not want to. If you decide to take part, you may withdraw at any time without giving a reason by closing the internet browser.
You will be asked to answer some demographic information regarding your age, gender, and teaching experience. Then you will be asked to read two short vignettes, both followed by some questions assessing your attitudes towards what you have just read. Following this, you will be asked to complete one final questionnaire asking about your views of ADHD. Once this is completed, your involvement in the study will be finished. There is no perceived risk to participating in this project.
If you require further information, have any questions or would like to withdraw your data then please contact me.
