I work in industry that isn't notorious for attracting kind, sympathetic people.
I finally ended up in a great group of motivated, inspiring, lovely people and I feel lucky every day I go into work.
I've just now been offered an opportunity to work within the same field but on a slightly different (more prestigious) job which would allow me to gain many more skills than I have now and massively enhance my prospects for the future. It really is an amazing opportunity and these things don't come around often.
Problem is I'd be leaving that team (the new role is permanent and I wouldn't be able to return).

Although it is important to have a good team as it certainly makes work more enjoyable, it sounds like this opportunity is offering you more for the future so i'd go for it
