Just started this again, made a little bit of profit from years ago doing it.

First couple of bets I managed to completely **** up on Betfair but luck was on my side and they became profitable.

How on earth are people making thousands consistently every month doing this?

Along with VIP sport accounts and multi-accounting being among the other avenues

I see. Think I'll try get used to just sports Matched betting at first.

Arbitrage betting interests me as well, guessing it requires a lot of research though.

I do arbing I just use odds checker its not that involved. but I am sure you can get much more technical then I do. I got a spreadsheet somewhere which worked out how to bet on groups going through to the next stages of world cup or Euros etc.

Eg if we have Group A with four teams in and 2 teams go through can we arb bet it in such a way that we make money regardless. not digging it up now though would take time to find and exams I made it several years back its somewhere in my acrhived emails to myself though.

Mind you its pretty basic to make.

personally like Yesbets as you can track balances and profit nicely on top of just providing an odds matcher.

Guess if you're familiar with a certain system and the offers are plentiful then there are a few to choose from

WARNING:

Guys, It seems bookmakers don't like giving out offers to students living in student accoms/halls for some reason as ive been reading on other forums.

Just a heads up, If your opening a new acc with a bookmaker or already have. make sure you use your home address.

And use a VPN when using bookmaker sites(if your back at student hall/shared accoms) since they can track which ip your using to access their site from.

Dont have to use vpn, but just to be careful

Been in student halls and signed up for accounts using it, never been any trouble whatsoever. Also used the university wifi in the library, lecture theatres etc and never had an issue.

Theres alot of these copy-cat sites springing up recently, I wonder if most of them are just directly copying content from PA/PM/OM.

Personally I'll stick with the big boys. PA have recently reduced their prices and are by far the best for newbies.

PM has the most extensive range of advanced products for those who are familiar with what they are doing.

OM is the jack of all but master of none.

Personally I use PM and clear anything between 1k-4k each month.

Can anyone give advice on match betting in student halls using shared wifi etc.

This is my first time going to uni but have been match betting for a couple years.
Will be moving into student halls and worried about using shared network for match betting. Bookies can be funny about 1 offer per IP address etc.

Accounts are all registered at home address etc but will be using halls network. So presumably everyone in the building will have the same IP address and could cause some issues.

It shouldn't be because it's technically not gambling. The only risk is human error.
