    No.

That's not how it works. You could have made that kind of change but only within 2 weeks of your original application. i.e. in November.
Ahh that makes sense, thank you!

You can't go into Extra UNLESS you first reject the Offer from the university you like.

You can't hold an Offer AND also go into Extra.

To be plain, even if you already have one offer that's suitable, you will have to reject it with all your other offers/choices.

Once you have rejected all 5, only then can you enter Extra. As said before, you had the opportunity to change any of your choices within 2 weeks of sending it off, but the deadline for that has obviously passed.

When you enter Extra, apply for the one you REALLY want to go to, the one at the top of your list of Unis.
(Remember that a fairly competitive course and/or Uni will have already given out many places, and so it may put you at a disadvantage, as you are basically applying to them at a later date than January, from when they started looking at all of the ones sent off to them by then.) It will take some time for each one to get back to you, and if you are rejected (hopefully not! ) then you'll have to go through your list of Unis one by one. I believe that if you do manage to secure an offer, then you may have to accept it? Not entirely sure.

Keep in mind that this service is mainly for people who have not managed to secure any offers out of their initial 5 choices, and so provides a lifeline for them to still get a place on their desired course. Hope it works out
