I was just wondering but do they give each question in one exam paper to different examiners or is it the one examiner who marks the same whole paper

one of my teacher who used to be an examiner (Alevel-maths) says they usually just get like 3 questions which will be the only part of the paper they mark😄 I guess it helps efficiency.

Yeah it's all via computers too, they scan everyone's papers in, then split all the questions up. Examiner's will get a question to mark and a copy of the markscheme. If it's a trickier question to mark (eg essays) then it will actually be marked by a few people in order to work out a final mark!

Totally depends on the exam board and the subject.
For example, for English lit they would only mark one question as you need a lot more knowledge to know if the person isn't just making stuff up
But for science papers (certainly on OCR) they mark your whole paper.
    So a mixture
