never feel happy but not particularly depressed either watch

    • Thread Starter

As a person I have never been a happy person I look kind of semi miserable and am not a sunny person more moody and grumpy don't smile enough. I would like to be a sunny person as I like those kind of people but have resigned myself to the fact that I am not like that so there is no point on trying to be someone I am not. Sometimes I used to get depressed but I tend to mope more and don't have much enthusiasm or energy for life. I never really feel very happy for long periods of time Can anyone else identify with this? thanks

Just form good habits doing things which are healthy and that you feel good about or proud of (eg I force myself to read books because it's something I'm proud of when I'm done, despite hardly ever doing it, eventually I hope this to form into a habit). Eventually this will translate into being a happier person. Make sure you eat your fruit and veg too as not having them can cause depression.

Find something that interests you. Seriously. Anything.

Memes. Sport. A genre of film. BOOKS are the particularly good; sucking you in and making you chuckle at some witty language, pulling your heartstrings and capturing your attention. Anything that you like doing and makes you feel good. Cheer up bro - life's too short not to live it happy
