I want to go to Edge Hill uni and study to be a secondary English teacher. I have 3 a levels, English lit Lang combined, sociology and media studies. And I did a NCTJ level 3 diploma in journalism. So under the new UCAS tarriff it's saying I have 144 points, so I have enough UCAS points. However I don't have a B in English a level only Cs and My maths GCSE is a D. But I have everything else, I already emailed the uni n they said I could do a access course but I can't as I have a levels apparently and been in education recently.

Anyone have any ideas. Will edge hill uni accept me still? Any way round it? I also have a merit in a certificate of higher education because I went to uni in 2015 but the course was awful so I dropped out. Sorry for the long long paragraphs. Thanks
