    Hi there,

I've been fast track distance learning A-Level English Literature and Language through Edexcel for the past 7 or so months. I have my exams booked for June this year.

I'm having some difficulty with the course. I've studied Voices and Arthur Miller's All My Sons. I got two low B's in my Tutor Marked Assignments which is all very well and good but I'd really like an A!

My last assignment didn't go so well. I got a low D for critical analysis of a very simple newspaper article despite following the course material's guide and examples thoroughly.

I'm now finishing my coursework, which after recieving a D i've re-written about 100 times due to lack of confidence, and I do not feel happy enough to submit it yet although my tutor has asked for it tomorrow!

The problem is, there is no accompanying text book for this course and it's a new curriculum (2015) so there seems to be very little advice out there on how to progress. Also, my tutor seems to be quite limited in the advice she's allowed to give me and the course material isn't overly in-depth. Obviously as I'm distance learning, I'm not in a classroom and learning directly from a teacher and I'm really struggling with how on earth I'm going to even submit my coursework let alone take an exam in 4 months time!

Is anyone out there experiencing the same thing? or are there any ELLA students out there who can give me some cracking advice? After paying nearly £1300 for 2 A-Levels and the exams, I'd really like to do well!
