Hi all, I'm quite new to TSR so this is my first post
Okay so, I'm currently in year 12 and attending a Roman Catholic sixth form. One of the compulsary things we have to do is an Extended Project Qualification- not to bad, right?
Except the EPQ is disguised as a "Religious Studies" lesson - Ugh! D:
Being an atheist myself, I have next to no interest for such dilemmas of the Roman Catholic Church and I'm pretty concerned that my EPQ is going to waste by forcing it into a useless RE essay that I won't really learn much from and definitely won't enjoy writing!

I'm sure that I want to study physics at university - pretty sure an EPQ in physics would really boost my chances of getting to where I want to be.

So.. is it worth the effort trying to change the topic of my EPQ? I've already been working on it for a few "months" (although only by 1 hour each week), plus it would be an uphead battle trying to get my sixth form to let me drop compulsary "RE".

Any advice would be helpful - thanks for reading

I went to Catholic school (didn't do EPQ) and I am a lapsed Catholic/Atheist, but I still found RE interesting. But that could be because my A Level RE was pretty much the history of the church, and I like that kind of stuff

Tbh, I would soldier on with it and try to find some interest in it.

Well, I don't have so much of an issue with it I guess
My only concern is that I'm losing an opportunity to boost my chances of getting into a physics course at uni
