    If you are really outstandingly good at maths and achieve 100% in every test or exam you have ever done but are seriously rubbish at French consistently getting less than 20%, why would you think you would get the same predicted grade for both?
    Your teachers will use their experience and best judgement to try to predict what you are likely to achieve in each subject.

    True!!! Thanks, it was just that before all my target grades were the same and I thought it would be the same for me next year too.

    Target grades are a slightly different thing in that they are based on what someone with your academic track record ought to be able to achieve. Predicted grades for UCAS are what they think you will get based on how you are actually performing.
