Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has claimed there is "no excuse" for the "unacceptable" problems NHS England is experiencing.

Sadly stories of patients being left in hallways or not being seen for almost 12 hours are no longer uncommon and there is no doubt that the NHS is at breaking point.

However, Hunt has said, during an interview with the BBC, that he feels the key was to treat more people "at home and in the community" to ease the burden on hard-pressed hospitals.

Read more on the story here.

What do you make of this? Are you a medical student who is anxious about the NHS? Have you had a recent experience with the NHS that supports or dispels Hunt's claims?
