I'm from Belfast and I am going to an interview for keele on 20th of march (Monday) I'm going to get there via Manchester my flight to Manchester lands at 8. The first bus to stoke on Trent is at 10:50 which will get me there for 11:45. Keele is a 15/20 minute drive away from stoke on Trent. If my interview Is at 1 (be there for 12:30 ) do you think that is okay ? (Flights and hotel would cost me An extra £150 pounds to stay over on Sunday)

It's as good as you're going to get I think. Call the uni and see if there's any later interview slots and warn them you could be late, sounds better before than after! Also check ferries etc and if there's anyone in England/Wales you could maybe stay with for a night but you've probably done this. Also trains, there might be some really good deal you can do on them even if it's just one way and get the bus back, or if you get the train into Manchester for example there's an earlier bus. But yeah, hopefully your plan's fine- good luck!

I would definitely call the uni and ask if there's anything they can do. I had one interview and was given a time that was difficult to travel for and the university offered me overnight accommodation. There's also a chance they push the interview back a couple of hours for you. It sounds like you'll be okay, the only thing which would go really wrong would be the train being late by 45 minutes or so but it would look pretty bad if that happened so ask first!
