Let me ask you this. You meet a guy. You find him ridiculously attractive. You have everything in common and get on like a house on fire. The perfect guy for you in that respect. He runs his own business and makes 200k a year profit. Ticking all the boxes so far, but wait... he didn't go to University!? No no no, bye bye!

    Do I have this correct?

She could have the phattest booty, most beautiful body with an amazing personality

If she isn't a post-doc research associate with multiple peer-reviewed publications in well respected science journals she's not for me. .

Supporting far right or far left/anarchist.
Having something really weird in their bodies
Being too tall (more than 1.85 m) or too short (less than 1.60m )
Not being intellectual and intriguing personalities in general
I could probably think more but that's enough no one will read it anyway

Das it mane. What's that? I've just brought home some medication and you can't tell me all the possible side effects without reading the leaflet? Wow you're stupid, take your perfect tooshie and hit the bricks, you were marriage material until I found out you were an uneducated pleb.

    A guy shorter than me
A guy younger than me (though I have gotten more lenient on that idea as I've gotten older and I feel it matters less)
I'm not a fan of thin lips either.

I think that's about the only shallow superficial reasons I can think of.

Oh wait, I did once slow things to a halt with a guy who was a bad kisser. I suppose that's kind of shallow.

edit: wait I hate skinny guys. Just a preference.

I find it disgusting and unhealthy.
I know this is a shallow criterion but I have it nonetheless

Oh I have had 'they're stupid' as a contributing factor in breaking up with someone.

All you short guys worried about height (mainly because of the sheer amount of girls on here who are shallow about it), it really isn't a big deal. I'm 5'7 (just) and nearly all of my ex's have been the same height as me or taller. Real women care about who you are not your height (:

Oh but I'll add that I once broke up with a girl because she made a weird clicking/sucking noise when we kissed and had bad breath :/

How is he the perfect guy for me if he doesn't have the one thing I specified as an essential requirement :holmes:
    Good logic!

Don't think I'd have much in common at all with the whole self-starting business type tbh. So yeah, definitely no.

It's not about earning potential, and obviously not a hard and fast rule. I come from a working class background and it's a quick and easy way to avoid the sort of guys who I grew up around.

Also if the guy is from a university like Swansea Met then I'm also a bit deterred.

Edit: You do realise you can apply your reasoning to every post on this thread? Perfect guy but without a beard, perfect guy but a couple of inches shorter,
perfect guy but wrong hair colour etc.

That's why I said "perfect in that respect" just after talking about his looks and personality

Well, saying "no degree" sounds like the epitome of a hard and fast rule to me. Either way, my curiosity has been satisfied

A lot of women hate facial hair tbh so I doubt you'll struggle. I just love a nice big beard :moon:
