So I have naturally wavy hair, but it generally looks very drab
The underside of my hair is usually really nice and curly but then the front parts which cover it up are almost straight (maybe because they're longer and have more weight?). Also, after the first day of clean hair the curls go limp and kind of fall out.
I've tried scrunching and drying, which helps with the underside but the front and top longer parts stay stubbornly straight and limp.
Would cutting my hair shorter help? It's not that long anyway, and I'm afraid I'll end up chopping the waves off.

Get some layers done, this way your hair feels alot lighter and you dont lose length
