I'm currently studying HND Public service at college but I have a mental illness . I was thinking about apprenticeships because you gain a qualification and work but mum doesn't like the thought leaving empty handed and just getting debt with no qualification. But I'm really stuck , I don't want to go in public service also I don't know what jobs are out there. My tutor has given me the option to complete HND and not claim the qualification. But I'm in so much dilemma, I just don't know what to do. I think I want to go into ict either go back to college maybe if they take me on or an apprenticeship. This has been really bugging me for last few months . Can I do a HND and go into ict are there any pathways into that area ?

An HND is unlikely to make any difference to your job prospects, most jobs are either for non graduates or those with a full degree. Don't worry about the debt, if you think you'd prefer an apprenticeship look into them.
