On the Mcdonalds website it says that part time work is when you work for upto 20 hours a week. Full time work is when you work for upto 35 hours a week? I will be going to university to study Accounting and Finance. However, I have calculated that I can do only 18 hours of part time work. I have found a part time job at a Mcdonalds branch near the university. Will be allowed to work for 18 hours.? Or will I have to work 20 hours (I can state the hours at which I will be available)?

You can work as many or as little hours as you want. They are quite flexible.
When you go through the application process you give them your availability (what days/times you can work and approximately how many hours you want), and they usually hnour that as much as possible.
