    Well I attended a university in the ranking of 50s, albiet for pharmacy but I have managed to gain a graduate position at one of the Big 4 in consulting. Its down to the student as to how much they make of the opportunities provided for them and how much they go out of their way to beef up their CV with their own initiative.

    uni is what you make of it, some people may see uni as a place to just gain experience, new friends, and develop a love of their subject. Maybe they are not too worried about getting a high flying job straight after. Going to a top 30 uni doesn't automatically guarantee you an incredible job, and less than 30 doesn't guarantee you won't get you a great job either
