I finished my high school recently and I am to go to university this September. The first year of university is spent learning A-levels. So based on your grades you can decide which course to study. My question is should I start studying before I go to university? Cause a friend advised me otherwise.

Huh? Surely you already have your A levels in order to be able to go to university??? Unless you mean you're doing a foundation year?

Assuming the latter: I personally would recommend revising all your relevant subjects from GCSE/ A level just before you go to university, because they will assume you have this base level of knowledge in order to enrol on the course. While some additional study may make it a bit easier at university, to be honest it really isn't all that necessary - just relax and enjoy your final summer of freedom...
